Our Troop’s History...
Building Leaders for the past 100 years
Boy Scout Troop 14 offers a year-round adventure-based program designed to offer and encourage effective character, citizenship and fitness training for boys ages 11-17.
In addition to camping, Scouts and adult leaders enjoy activities such as canoeing, target-shooting, visits to high-adventure camps and exploring the outdoors all while accommodating the needs of today's busy families.
Meetings are held every Monday evening at 7:00PM at St. John Newberry United Methodist Church in Williamsport, PA.
Our troop was first organized as Troop 1 of Newberry, PA on January 22, 1918 and later became Troop 14 of Williamsport, PA with the establishment of the Williamsport Council, B.S.A in November 1919.
On May 12, 2018, the troop celebrated it's 100th anniversary of successful scouting. Since the Troop was chartered, we have had 125 scouts achieve the rank of Eagle. Our Eagle projects have helped local schools, cross country teams, churches and charities.
